The search for four-year-old Asimdumise Phungwayo has come to an end after his body was found this morning (October 7) in Woodstock Dam, Bergville. 

Bergville police have opened an inquest and will be investigating. 

Warrant Officer Jacques Meyer from the Ladysmith K9 Unit dived into the dam and found the body this morning. Family members have identified the child.
