Truck drivers are obstructing the N3 Toll Route in both directions near Montrose (at N3-7X Km 13).

Law enforcement personnel have been deployed and are currently monitoring the situation.

There is already a backlog of traffic between Montrose and Harrismith, which is causing delays on the northbound carriageway (towards Gauteng) at the Tugela Plaza.

Road users are advised to delay their travels in the area (between the Tugela Plaza and Harrismith) until further notice. The authorities are currently on scene, but the situation is yet to be resolved.
