DANNHAUSER KZN: Delayed start to voting in town

Only a handful of goats have since left the station

There are rumblings of discontent in Dannhauser where people have now queued up for over half an hour, waiting for the voting station at Dannhauser Secondary to open.

Residents, who have been queueing from before 7, have complained that IEC staff were late themselves in setting up.

Voting stations across the country were due to open at 7am.

Thus far only a handful of goats have been spotted leaving the voting station after arriving here first.

An IEC official has since apologised to those gathered for the delay.
