ESTCOURT KZN: IEC busy with vote counting
Municipal electoral officer Vusi Magubane says that the counting of the ballots is underway
After the municipal elections held yesterday (November 1), municipal electoral officer Vusi Magubane says that the counting of the ballots is underway.
Speaking to the Estcourt News this morning (November 2), Mr Magubane said that Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) officials were at the municipal offices, working on tallying up the votes.
“No information about results will be given until all the information is verified. I will issue a press statement in due time,” added Mr Magubane.
He said that any information from political parties about the local government elections results in Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality is unconfirmed at this stage.
