NEWCASTLE KZN: Young humanitarian aims to restore dignity to the less fortunate
According to Dheochand, the aim of the drive is to collect enough sanitary items to help the less fortunate.
Sharnè Dheochand, a local model and humanitarian, will host her annual sanitary pad drive this month.
The goal of the drive, according to Dheochand, is to collect enough sanitary products to assist those who are less fortunate and are forced to miss school or key occasions due to a lack of suitable sanitary items when they menstruate.
“As a result, I’ll have a trolley at Pick n Pay Hutten Heights and Pick n Pay Family (Pioneer Park), where you may drop off your donations,” she explained.
