School receives borehole as donation
The school has been struggling with water woes for some time now
A borehole, donated by the Gift of the Givers and Sumitomo Rubber Ladysmith, was handed over to Amancamakazane Primary School on Thursday (November 18). The borehole doesn’t only benefit the school, but the community at large.
An electrical pump has also been installed. The pump helps fill the two tanks with water. The school tank always gets filled first, and then the community one. Water woes are now a thing of the past at the school.
