By donating blood this December, you can give the best gift this festive season; the gift of life.
In a bid to deal with the inevitable blood shortage crisis experienced over the festive season, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is urging residents to donate blood before they embark on their holidays.
Road accidents over the busy festive period always contribute to the high demand for blood and so the SANBS is aiming to ensure that no patient is left without blood this December.
They are also calling on scholars to donate now that their final examinations are over.
The SANBS will be in Dundee today and anyone donating blood at the St. James Church Hall between 1pm and 6:30pm stands a chance to win a SANBS HAMPER!
