Mayor sympathises with families after murder
"We heard about this painful thing that has happened and we saw fit to come and sympathise with them during this hard time"
Today (December 21), Alfred Duma Local Municipality Mayor Zama Sibisi, Deputy Mayor Sizwe Simelane and Speaker Bheki Sithole visited the Khumalo and Zwane families to sympathise with them.
This comes after the gruesome killing of their grandchild.

In the morning, the delegation visited the Khumalo family home, where Mr Khumalo elaborated about what happened. He told the mayor that the funeral will be held in Ekuvukeni.
The mayor, together with his delegation, then headed to the Zwane family in Ekuvukeni, where funeral preparations are currently underway. Groceries and money was handed to the family as a sign of sympathy.

The mayor said, “We heard about this painful thing that has happened and we saw fit to come and sympathise with them during this hard time. We appeal to anyone who can lend a helping hand to come forward,” said Mayor Sibisi.
