This evening (January 17), Al-Imdaad Foundation members rescued a man and a woman who were trapped at the Kandahar Avenue sports ground.

The foundation members came to their rescue in boats.

The two people who were rescued were then taken to the Indoor Sports Complex and placed in the care of Disaster Management personnel, who had arranged for shelter and hot meals.
