Newcastle SAPS investigates Trim Park death –
Local police officials are seeking help from the public, to identify a woman who collapsed and died on Allen Street in March.
According to Lizzy Arumugam, from the Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications office, the woman was walking along the street near the Trim Park when she fell suddenly to the ground. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman’s death has since been determined to be ‘unnatural causes’. The case is now under investigation by police officials.
Arumugam explained that at time of her death, the woman was wearing an orange political party logo T-shirt, a black leather jacket, a black and white skirt, a mustard-coloured scarf with a dragonfly design, a striped blanket and size 8 sandals.
