Newly-appointed CoGTa representative says he’s ready to serve Ward 7 residents

Nhlanhla will be based at the Glencoe Town Hall War Room to deal with community issues such as complaints and suggestions.

Nhlanhla Hlengani, a resident of Ward 7 in Glencoe, was recently elected by the Department
of Co-operative Governance & Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) as a Community Development Worker (CDW). Four CDW representatives were selected in Endumeni. Nhlanhla’s role is to ensure a constructive and harmonious interaction between the municipality and the community, as well as attending to all matters that affect and benefit the community. “

Nhlanhla is the link between the community of Ward 7 and Endumeni Municipality and we will work closely in ensuring that the community of Ward 7
gets service delivery,” said Ward 7 Cllr Abdool.
“I am overwhelmed by this appointment and I am truly touched that I was elected to represent my ward and work with the community of Ward 7,” said Nhlanhla.
He will be based at the Glencoe Town Hall War Room to deal with community issues such as complaints and suggestions.
