Police hold prayer after fallen officers

This prayer was held to plead for God’s intervention after five police officers lost their lives in one month.

Last week Wednesday, the Zululand SAPS District Commissioner invited all police personnel in the district for a short prayer in Ulundi under the motto ‘police members must grow old and take their retirement’.

This prayer was held to plead for God’s intervention after five police officers lost their lives in one month.
Pastors from around the district joined in and bowed their heads as everyone present contemplated the tragedy and asked for divine intervention from the Almighty.

Some of the officers lost their lives after short illnesses and others were shot dead. Mahlabathini SAPS lost three of their officers.
The families of the deceased were also present at the prayer.
On a positive note though, members of some units decided to celebrate Heritage Day with bright and beautiful colours.
