Three injured as result of N11 traffic back-up
According to witnesses, a car crashed into the back of another vehicle as traffic came to a halt.
Three people sustained moderate to serious injuries, after two vehicles collided on the N11 near the Mittal Bridge earlier this morning (November 21).
According to Jan-Henk van Vuuren of Magenta Medical Services, there was a heavy traffic backup on the N11 due to protest action.
According to witnesses, a car crashed into the back of another vehicle as traffic came to a halt.
“Two men and one woman were injured, and emergency personnel worked quickly to extricate the injured from the vehicle, after which they were stabilised and transported to the hospital,” he said.
The exact cause of the collision is still unknown and a police investigationis continuing.
