He was last seen transporting passengers to Johannesburg.
The family and friends of local taxi driver,Wesley Cele are appealing to members of the community to come forward if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.
According to his aunt, Charmaine van Zyl, he was last seen transporting passengers to Johannesburg on December 21 using a white Quntanm mini bus taxi with registration NN59194.
“He is someone who checks in with his family every day. When he failed to do so we got worried and tried to phone him on December 23, but a stranger answered his phone and claimed he found the phone lying on the streets in Johannesburg. We contacted hospitals and mortuaries to see if he wasn’t maybe at one of them,but he wasn’t,” explained Van Zyl.
The family has since opened a missing person’s case at the police.
