The Newcastle SPCA is offering free boarding to animals displaced by the floodwaters.
“If anyone has animals that require assistance as a result of the floods, please call the Newcastle SPCA, we will board your animals free of charge,” said the SPCAs Heather Gero

Remember: Fairleigh Hall is providing temporary shelter for the flood victims.
If you have any blankets to contribute for flood victims, please drop them off at 60 Murchison Street.
“Come Newcastle, let us stand together in this time of need, and let us support each other where we can,” Gero urged.
