Suspect killed after stealing sugar and soap
He was accosted and assaulted with a pipe and he sustained fatal injuries:
Two men have been charged for murder after a man was fatally assaulted on Voortrekker Street on Sunday.
This was after the deceased allegedly stole a pack of sugar and liquid soap from a store in Scott Street.
The security guard chased the man who ran toward the taxi rank and back into Voortrekker Street.
He was accosted and assaulted with a pipe and he sustained fatal injuries.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
