Eff supporters start recruiting

Members of the EFF have mobilised throughout the Newcastle CBD today – allegedly to recruit more members for tomorrow’s planned national shutdown.

Members were spotted at Newcastle Taxi City Spar, the lower CBD and at the entrances of the Newcastle Mall.

Although no disruption has been caused to traffic or businesses in the area, police and other security forces are out monitoring the situation.

The Newcastle Advertiser will be on the ground tomorrow monitoring any and all activities and will keep readers updated.
