Student protestors cause chaos in Barry Hertzog Park
It's believed the students are upset over fees that have not been paid:
A large group of student protesters made their way to a local college located in Barry Hertzog Park shortly before 20:00 this evening, creating chaos in the area.
SAPS, CPF members, and private security forces quickly reacted to the commotion and dispersed the disruptive crowd.
They later returned to the area, creating even more havoc than before, reportedly burning debris and hurling rocks.
All emergency personnel have been redirected to the region where they have been monitoring the situation.
According to reports, students are angry about unpaid fees, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
