Protesters demand removal of manager at eMadlangeni Municipality
A small group of protesters blocked entrance to the offices of the eMadlangeni(Utrecht) municipality on Monday morning.
The group is calling for the removal of Ntiskelelo Ndlovu, a manager in the Mayor’s office, who they accuse of interfering in procurement matters.
The eMadlangeni municipality confirmed that a protest action occurred outside the municipal premises, where the group presented a memorandum to the Speaker, Cllr P.X.Qwabe.
The Speaker asked for any additional information or evidence to back up the allegations in the memorandum and committed to respond within seven working days.
