N11 (Newcastle to Ladysmith) temporarily closed due to head-on collision

The N11 between Newcastle and Ladysmith has been temporarily closed after two trucks collided head-on near the Durnacol /Dannhauser turn-off.
All officials are currently at the scene, and have closed the road off to motorists until the scene is cleared.
Traffic is currently backed-up and motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes in the meantime.
It is not clear at this stage how many people have been injured. However, this information will be updated as soon as more information is available.
