Local poet needs vote to win at Gospel Awards

Manda was nominated last year in the same awards in the Best Poet category which he subsequently won.

Lindokuhle Manda, popularly known as ‘Manda Da Poet’, has again been nominated at the fifth annual Ukhonukamva National Gospel Music Awards. He has received double nominations in the Best Author category for his book, ‘A hunting soul’, and also in the Best Graphic Design category. Manda was nominated last year in the same awards in the Best Poet category which he subsequently won.

He is again pleading with the community at large to vote for him so he can bring home the awards just like he did last year. To vote for Manda, for ‘Best Author’ SMS KAMVA 040 to 45633 and ‘Best Graphic Designer’ SMS KAMVA 071 to 45633 each SMS costs R1.50.

The voting lines are officially open and the ceremony is anticipated to be held in Cape Town in December.
