Vryheid Cyclists take part in the MTB race in Free State
A group of Vryheid cyclists took part in the MTB race, with three cyclists taking part in the 93km.
The annual Standard Bank-South Africa VKB Bieliemieliefees was held in the beautiful town of Reitz in the Free State.
The festival is said to be one of the largest and most popular agricultural shows in South Africa, attracting more than 20,000 people over a period of three days.
A group of Vryheid cyclists took part in the MTB race on Saturday, with three cyclists taking part in the 93km.
Sandra Haywood and Everett Haywood finished in a time of 4:39, as well as Jabulani Xulu in a time of 4:54. In the 50km, Riaan Swanepoel finished with his brother Ampie in a time of 2:45 and Lize Swanepoel in 3:02. In the 21km, Wynand, Loumey and Chrisna Swanepoel finished in a time of 1:36.
