Suspect arrested for housebreaking, theft, and drug possession in Newcastle

A suspect wanted in connection with a housebreaking and robbery case in the Dannhauser area has been arrested in Newcastle following a coordinated effort by local police and security agencies.

The arrest was made through concerted efforts by the Newcastle Crime Fighter Task Team, led by CCPA Imran Ghafoor, off-duty Constable SM Ghafoor, and Ressec Security.

Crystal meth was discovered on the suspect by arresting officers when he was being arrested, so they also brought drug possession charges as additional counts beyond the charge of housebreaking and theft.

We would like to offer a massive thank you to all those who have been involved in this successful operation. Your diligence and swift response are making our communities safer,” said Ghafoor, thanking the team for their efforts.
