Attempted murderer arrested after stabbing victim on Ayliff Street
The victim was transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital and has made a remarkable recovery.
Police are investigating a case of attempted murder following the stabbing of a man on Ayliff Street.
According to police reports, police were summoned to the scene where they found the victim bleeding profusely after being stabbed in the chest.
The victim was able to identify the suspect as well as provide police with a description of the vehicle he fled in.
The Newcastle Tracing Team quickly apprehended the suspect and charged him with attempted murder.
