Search launched for missing aircraft – urgent BOLO issued
Authorities are urging the public to assist in locating the missing plane carrying three people on board.
A desperate search has been launched by the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre (ARCC) for a light aircraft, carrying three people, that went missing on Sunday, June 8.
The aircraft’s last known location was over Ladysmith, heading south toward either Pietermaritzburg or Greytown.
Aircraft details:
- Type: Piper Cherokee
- Registration: ZS-KFB
- Colour: Blue, Black, and White.
Residents in Ladysmith, Greytown, Newcastle, Pietermaritzburg and nearby rural or mountainous terrain are urged to contact the numbers below should they have any information:
