Two people sustained minor injuries when a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle collided at the intersection of Allen and Drakensberg Streets earlier this afternoon (8 July).
Emergency services, including paramedics, the South African Police Service, and traffic officers, swiftly responded to the scene.
The injured patients were treated on site while officials began conducting preliminary investigations.
Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries.
Motorists travelling in the vicinity are urged to slow down and to exercise extreme caution when approaching the robots. The exact cause of the collision is still unknown at this stage.
