Tree crashes down on tombstones at Dundee graveyard

The damage in the cemetery is extensive

A large tree, felled in Saturday’s storm, damaged several graves and tombstones at the Dundee graveyard, opposite the ambulance depot at Dundee Hospital.

Family members who have loved ones buried in this area of the graveyard have been urged to check on the graves.

It is unclear at this stage who will be responsible for carrying out repairs – the Municipality or the relatives.
