Dundee SAPS confirm midnight robbery at Endumeni’s offices

Dundee SAPS have confirmed that a gang of five armed men struck at midnight at the Endumeni municipal head office on Victoria Street.

Cst Siyabonga Nkwanyana, Umzinyathi District SAPS spokesperson. said the men pretended to be municipal employees.

They then produced firearms and tied up the security guard before going to the safe, which they managed to access, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and got away.

“The matter was later reported to Dundee police station a case of business robbery has been opened, no arrest has been made. The matter is under investigation.”
