November 9: Anything But a Glass Party at Rusty Bucket
R500 is up for grabs for the partygoer arriving with the most ‘interesting container’ from which to drink when The Rusty Bucket, Glencoe Spar Centre, hosts an open birthday party for Dillin from 5.30 pm. November 9 and 10: Moths Poppy Day and Remembrance Sunday parade
The local Moths will be selling poppies at Pick n Pay on Saturday, November 9, in the run-up to the Remembrance Sunday parade, which will be held at the Cenotaph in front of the municipality.
Wreaths will be laid, and the Last Post will be sounded at 11 a.m. in remembrance of the amnesty that ended World War One in 1918.
However, the service is not only about World Wars. In Dundee, the impressive 101-year-old memorial serves as a tribute to all who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Dust off your cue sticks and get practising! Pool addicts are in for a treat when a combined ‘best of the best’ showdown takes place in the Glencoe Town Hall. Registration fees: R250 per player.
