Gift of the Givers bring smiles with school shoe donation in Dannhauser

There were smiles all around at Dannhauser Secondary and Pumupungu Primary as Gift of the Givers delivered more than just school shoes — they brought confidence, comfort, and hope

There was joy and gratitude at Dannhauser Secondary and Pumupungu Primary schools last week as learners received much-needed school shoes, thanks to a generous donation from the humanitarian organisation, Gift of the Givers.
The initiative saw dozens of deserving pupils walking home with sturdy new school shoes – easing the burden on families and giving learners a renewed sense of pride and confidence.

Gift of the Givers representatives Javed and Firoz were on hand to distribute the shoes and engage with the learners.
Their efforts were warmly received by staff and community members alike.

“This was a momentous day for our schools,” said Farzanah Dookie of the Helping Hands organisation, who helped co-ordinate the initiative. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this act of kindness. The impact on our learners’ lives is immeasurable.”
The donation forms part of Gift of the Givers’ ongoing outreach work to uplift under-resourced schools and communities across the country.
