On Wednesday last week, the Sarel Cilliers Choir performed at Ferrum High School, followed by another performance on Friday at Vryheid High School. These performances were held in support of the host schools and served as preparation for the highly anticipated Sarel Cilliers High School Choir Festival, scheduled to take place on August 30.

Meanwhile, learners also participated in the André Fourie Tournament, hosted by Ferrum High School on Friday and Saturday.
Netball Fast 5 results:
U/15: Sarel Cilliers 6 – 10 Pionier;
U/17: Sarel Cilliers 3 – 17 Pionier.
Rugby 7s results:
U/15: Sarel Cilliers 24 – 10 Utrecht;
U/15: Sarel Cilliers 35 – 0 Amajuba High;
U/15 semi-final: Sarel Cilliers 14 – 12 Volksrust;
U/15 final: Sarel Cilliers 10 – 20 Pionier.
The U/17-A rugby team dominated their division and went on to beat Ferrum High 19-15 in the final, earning the title of ‘Champions of the Tournament’.

Hockey 7s results:
The girls’ team showed great determination to secure fourth place in the tournament.
The boys’ team continued their winning streak, finishing first in Pool A before defeating Ferrum High in the final. They were crowned champions for the fourth consecutive year.

Cricket results:
On Saturday, both the U/15 and first cricket teams faced Dundee High School.
The U/15 team played at home, while the first team competed away.
Despite strong performances from both sides, Dundee High managed to clinch victory in both matches.
