Dannhauser honours women and celebrates their achievements on Women’s Day
Dannhauser marked Women’s Day with speeches, awards and tributes celebrating women’s resilience, leadership and community contributions.
Dannhauser recently came alive with celebration as the community marked Women’s Day, honouring the outstanding contributions of women across the district.
The event, hosted at the Dannhauser Community Health Centre (CHC), brought together women leaders, community members, and local officials for a day of recognition, inspiration, and unity.
A spokesperson expressed gratitude, saying: “A heartfelt thank you to Dannhauser CHC, SAPS, and the remarkable women leaders in our district for the invitation and for recognising the contributions of women in the community. I am honoured to have shared the day with such inspiring individuals.”
The programme featured speeches from influential women, community awards, and reflections on the pivotal roles women play in education, health, safety, and local governance. Attendees also shared personal stories of resilience and achievement, fostering a strong sense of pride and solidarity throughout the district.
