Majuba TVET students, Dundee, showcase business talent at vibrant Market Day

Majuba TVET College students demonstrated their creativity and business insight during a vibrant Market Day at the Dundee Campus.

Majuba TVET College’s Dundee Technology Centre Campus came alive recently as Financial Management students hosted a vibrant Market Day, transforming the campus into a hub of innovation and enterprise.

Stalls brimmed with food, crafts and services, as students put their entrepreneurial and business management skills into practice. Each group was evaluated on innovation, presentation, customer service and overall business potential.

Adding prestige to the occasion was Endumeni Mayor Mcebo Mkhize, himself a former student and student leader of the campus. Mkhize visited each stall, purchasing items and offering words of encouragement to the budding entrepreneurs.

Prizes were presented to the top three stalls, recognising outstanding creativity and entrepreneurship. College management commended the initiative, noting that it forms part of Majuba TVET College’s mission to promote job creation, skills development and hands-on learning opportunities.

Officials described the event as a resounding success, highlighting the enthusiastic student participation, strong leadership support and positive engagement from community stakeholders.
