Helping Hands launches urgent appeal to fund school fees for struggling Dannhauser children

Helping Hands urges the public to support children in Dannhauser who face exclusion from school due to poverty.

Dannhauser Helping Hands has launched an urgent appeal for community support to help local children who cannot afford school fees.

Chairperson Farzanah Dookie said the organisation is deeply concerned that financial hardship is depriving many young learners of their right to education.

“We are appealing to residents, businesses and well-wishers to come together and make a difference,” said Dookie.
“Your contribution, big or small, can change a child’s life.”

Dannhauser Helping Hands is a long-standing, community-based organisation that provides vital support to vulnerable families across the region. This latest initiative aims to ensure that no child is denied access to education because of poverty.

“Education is a gift that opens doors to a better future,” Dookie added.
“Every rand counts, and together we can give these children hope.”

Community members are encouraged to contribute financially or share resources that will help keep children in school.

Those who wish to assist can contact Farzanah on 060 762 8423.
