Hamilton pupils help clean up local park

The African Black Ducks hosted the learners.

Hamilton Land Service learners assisted the African Black Ducks in cleaning up Christopher Park in Francis Road today (July 2). They were joined by municipal officials and members of various conservation groups.

While the group was cleaning up, an African Crown Eagle, which nests nearby, stopped by to observe their efforts. Peering down from its perch, it seemed to give its seal of approval to the pupils below, before soaring off.
