Police are investigating a case of rape after a three-year-old was allegedly sexually assaulted recently.

The incident is believed to have happened in the Ezakheni area.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan commented that no arrests have been made as yet, but they are following up on leads and in search of the suspect.

Should anyone have any information concerning this disturbing case, they are requested by the SAPS to please come forward.
