Osizweni SAPS bag one suspect for possession of Mandrax
The suspect was charged with possession of illegal narcotics and will appear in the Madadeni Magistrates Court soon.
One suspect was apprehended after being found in possession of Mandrax during an Intelligence Driven Operation in Osizweni.
According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer Lizzy Arumugam, the suspect (37) was apprehended after police raided a house in Section A.
“Upon arrival, police discovered the man in possession of 15 full and three half Mandrax tablets, estimated to be worth around R1800,” she said.
The suspect was charged with possession of illegal narcotics and will appear in the Madadeni Magistrates Court soon.
