Pair of armed men rob clothing store

Estcourt detectives are following up on leads after an armed robbery at a clothing store in Albert Street today (April 20)

Shortly after midday, two men walked into the store and approached the till.

Producing firearms, they threatened the teller and demanded cash.

A small amount of money was handed over and the pair of robbers fled from the store.

“No shots were fired and no one was injured. Estcourt detectives are investigating the robbery,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.
