Biker seriously injured in Allen Street intersection crash
The patient was stabalised and treated before being transported to hospital for further intensive medical care.
A biker sustained serious injuries after colliding with a mini bus taxi at the intersection of Allen and Victoria Streets on Tuesday afternoon (September 19).
According to official sources at the scene, the taxi bumped into the motorcycle from behind, causing the rider to suffer severe facial and head fractures.
Various emergency services attended to the scene and the patient was stabilised and treated before being transported to hospital for further intensive medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is at this stage not known and will remain subject to further police investigation.
