Four armed men surprised the owner of a Nissan Navara while he was dumping building site rubble near Burger Street. The gunmen beat the driver, but his assistant was not attacked.

The robbers then stole cellphones and other valuables before fleeing in the man’s car.

As soon as the hijackers left, the man ran to a nearby business for help.

He was assisted by a local pastor, Sajesh Kumar, who not only called the police but also provided them with further assistance.
