DJS marks 50th anniversary with fantastic fun day

There was an early-morning fun walk and later, lots of slippery, wet fun in the form of a slip 'n slide, tug-of-war, an obstacle course and other challenges.

Not even Saturday’s fierce wind and rainstorm could dampen the spirit at Dundee Junior School (DJS) when they marked their 50th anniversary with a fun day.
There was an early-morning fun walk and later, lots of slippery, wet fun in the form of a slip ‘n slide, tug-of-war, an obstacle course and other challenges.
Headmaster Brits Maree and his staff quickly rounded up the children when the storm struck and made sure they were safe until ‘normality’ returned.
The day ended with local band ‘Inner Secrets’ entertaining an appreciative crowd in the hall.
