Another milestone for Food for Life Estcourt

The dedicated team has provided close to 20,000 meals to communities in need

The small, dedicated team of Food for Life Estcourt volunteers have been hard at work ensuring that hunger is kept at bay in the community.

On November 12, members started their day by preparing large pots of breyani and dhall, which would later be packaged and distributed.
500 meals were generously sponsored by a donor and handed out to residents in Forderville and Shepstone Home for the Aged.

Fresh meals are distributed to Forderville residents from the Rambisson home.

Thus far, the team has distributed a mammoth total of 18,000 meals since its inception three years ago, and 6000 meals for this year. The team worked through the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure that no one was left hungry.
