The Alfred Duma Electrical Department is currently experiencing problems at one of their transformer stations.

The Ladysmith bulk purification plant has been switched off as a result.

Some areas are likely to be affected by low water pressure or no water at all. These areas include: Van Riebeeck Park, Hospital Park, Old Golf Course, Observation Hill, Egerton, Limit Hill, Modelkloof and the CBD.

Assessments are being done and more information will be given soon.
