Water has subsided in town
Motorists are advised to still exercise caution when driving in the lower regions of the CBD

The water has subsided in most of the areas that were flooded in last night’s (December 17) storm.
Rain bucketed down in the afternoon and again in the evening, accompanied by hail in some places and strong winds. This saw the low-lying areas of the CBD being flooded. The lower end of Murchison Street was underwater.
However, the rain has stopped and the water is drying up.
