Residents in Agra Road are up in arms with uThukela about stinky sewer water pooling in the area.

They say it’s an ongoing problem that never seems to get sorted out.

“We can’t even open our windows for some fresh air or sit in the backyard because of the disgusting stench. Why don’t they come and do repairs? This is totally unacceptable,” said one furious homeowner.

Those who use Agra Grounds for sport or exercise say that the smell is unbearable and they would rather go somewhere else. 

Even motorists using the road say they have to roll up their windows and hold their breath ‘for fear of inhaling the filthy fumes in the air’.
