  • New Age of Newcastle Valentines Day Dinner and Dance

February 11 – The New Age of Newcastle cordially invites you to attend their Valentines Day Dinner and Dance at the Status Hall at 17:00 for 18:00.

Dress code is a formal with a mascarade ball theme and entertainment will be provided by the Men in Black.

Tickets cost R200 per person and includes a five-course meal.

  • St Dominics Newcastle Bark Run

February 18 – Bring your precious fur baby to a special event just for man’s best friend at St Dominics Newcastle!

The Bark Run will take place from 08:00 to 12:00 at the school. Come walk your dog, be a sponsor or supporter and enjoy a relaxing day with us.

Registration for the walk starts at 08:00 and  will cost R50 per dog and all proceeds from this event will go towards the Newcastle SPCA.

NB: All dogs should be leashed and immunised.

  • HPS temple to celebrate Maha Shivaratri

February 18 – The HPS Temple cordially invites the public to join them in celebrating Maha Shivaratri beginning at 18:00.

The prayers will be led by Pundits Magan Maharaj and Raj Maharaj.

You and your family are invited to attend Satsang at the temple every Tuesday between 18:00 and 19:00.

  • The Ramakrishna Centre observes Maha Shivaratri

February 18 – The Ramakrishna Centre will observe Maha Shivaratri at the Green Street Ashram from 18:30 to midnight.

The program will include Kirtans, Bhajans, Strotrams, Discourses, Hawan, and Aarti, and anyone is welcome to attend.

  • Ramakrishna Centre to observe Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti (Tithi Puja)

February 21 – The Ramakrishna Centre will observe Sri Ramakrishna Jayanti (Tithi Puja) at the Green Street Ashram.

Satsang will commence at 18:30 and the programme will comprise of Bhajans, Kirtans, Discources, Hawan and Aarti.

  • The St Dominics Newcastle annual Golf Day

February 25 – The St Dominics Newcastle annual Golf Day is one of the most anticipated events on the local sports calendar!

This year’s event will take place at the Newcastle Golf Club and will cost R250 per player.

There will be a shotgun start at 09:00, with a Four-ball American scramble format of play.
