Siva Subramaniam Temple hold Kavady festival

Newcastle Siva Subramanian temple hosted its annual Kavady festival in honour of Lord Muruga.

Newcastle Siva Subramaniam Temple held their Kavady festival this past Saturday (February 4).

Worshippers led by Guru Paramasivan Krishen began the event at an open field where they prayed and made wishes before heading to the temple in Surryaville.

During the Thaipusam celebration, devotees conduct Kavady in honor of Lord Muruga.
