New stationery supplies for learners
More than 400 stationery packs were given to learners
A prayer was answered for the learners at Mthiyane Primary School when they received stationery supplies on Monday morning.
The team from Gift of the Givers embarked on their annual ‘Education Support’ campaign by visiting the school in Ntabamhlophe. 420 stationery packs, loaded with the essentials, were distributed to the grateful learners.
School principal Lindiwe Ndumo was overjoyed by the generous donation.
“The principal was in shock when I called to tell her that we would be coming through. Her question was: ‘How did you know our stationery was short this year?'” said Gift of the Givers Estcourt community liaison Jaaved Khan.
In total, 1500 learners will benefit from the stationery packs, which will be handed out by Gift of the Givers to schools in and around Estcourt.
