After days of continuous rain and the Klip River being relatively high, it was only a matter of time before Ladysmith would again flood.

Similar floods took place last year, at about the same time.

Currently, Lyell Street is partially flooded, but traffic is still moving along it.

The latest reports we have is that the water level is continuing to rise.
