Business as usual in Estcourt amid national shutdown

Estcourt SAPS Station Commander confirms there were no incidents to report and all is quiet

Law enforcement officers are on high alert as EFF supporters embarked on a national shutdown and have reported that it’s business as usual in the streets of Estcourt.

Estcourt SAPS Station Commander Colonel Nkosinathi Radebe, whose officers partnered with locals last night to patrol the streets, said that there are no incidents to report and all is quiet.

Police and traffic officers continue to patrol the CBD streets and suspected hotspots.

There have been no incidents reported on the N3 to Mooi River and all roads remain clear at this stage.
